If the hot surface igniter glows when calling for heat and the gas valve does not open does this indicate a bad gas valve or are we gettin enough resistance from the glow coil???

Customer You said the glow coil was glowing so (unlike a gas range which is wired differently ) the glow coil is not the problem - it's either the sensor or the valve solenoids but is you turn it on and it just glows and glows and glows and the valve never opens ( no flame ) the sensor is not opening
