our refrigerator began to warm. when disconnected and then reconnected to the power supply, it began to hum as it should and cool, but only for a little while before the warming began all over again.

Ok, let's take a look at this;


If the fan and lights are working,

Sounds like your compressor relays may be failing this will allow the fan to work, but the compressor to stay off
