So this is an antique Swiss half hunter 935 Silver pocket watch

The half hunter isa variation on the full hunter. It has a similar feel with a dial protected by a hinged case, however the case has a window in the middle, allowing the user to read the time without having to open the case.

It has a 4 jewel movement (rubies) corundum is used for its conducive properties.

The purpose of these jewels isto act as bearings to various components in the watch specifically the parts that make contact and would normally wear down easilysuch as the escape lever and the impulse jewel.

There were many of these made and without any marks there are many so it doesn't increase the value or rarity of the watch
