VerifiedHello I'm Dave and welcome to justasnwer. This looks like a painting as opposed to a print but it's not a Cubist painting, really more of a stylized piece from the mid 20th c and by an anonymous amateur or hobby painter
Well I think that white swish bothers you because it's an amateur painting. Do you follow me? It's not very well done. It may represent the action of the girl as she swung her arm up around the guy's head. That's what it would represent in a Cubist work, the captured energy. But it's clumsy. In a well executed work everything would appear seemless and 'right'. I don't know. I've just looked at so many paintings over the years that certain things become obvious. Like if the artist knows what they're doing or not. At any rate keep hunting and thank you for visiting justanswer.
