I have an NCR...

I have an NCR brass cash register. I cannot open the drawer, about 5 years ago, someone played with the keys and now its jammed.

There is a serial number on a plate on the front 588877, then below that the number 92. I am thinking of letting it go, but I have no idea of any value to it and I have not had any luck in my area of finding anyone I trust to try and unjam the machine.is there a way to get a general value?
