VerifiedThis is a silver over copper tea set made by Birmingham Silver Company of Yatesville, CT
after 1957. They were the successors to Goldfelder Silverware CO and bought the dies
and patterns when the business was turned over to them in 1957. BSC in old english type letters and a crown and the words Silver over Copper are one of their common hallmarks (see photo for example).
The set of this many pieces has a value of $225 to $275 retail if the silver is not over polished and worn though to copper.
