Do you know anything about this clay and ceramic figure. It's between 7" & 8" tall. No chips or damage, other than it looks like the right hand held something ... incense stick comes to mind, but I really have no idea

This is a circa 1950 to 1970 Chinese boy figurine

incense holder. These were made of earthenware pottery

in all different shapes as decorative holders for the incense

at a Buddhist's home shrine. I have added a picture of a mud man Chinese

figurine to show the hand in the same position.
