I have some antiques...

I have some antiques I might want appraised before I decide what I might sell. What is the process?

Expert's Assistant: Don't you just love the idea of finding something valuable in your attic? I do, but I think all I have up there is junk my brothers abandoned before they left home. Always a good idea to check things with the Antiques Appraiser, though. Tell us what else you do know and the Antiques Appraiser will be able to better assist you.

I have a pair of end tables (I can send picture) of which I know nothing!

Thoughtful responses take time. My responses are not instantaneous.

To obtain values for your antiques, submit one item of set of items (for example a set of dining chairs or a set of china) per single question.

Photos are almost always required to give an accurate assessment. If you cannot send photos, I can still work with your descriptions; however, I can give more accurate answers if I have photos.
