Vintage/Antique Maps: I'd love to learn whatever I can on

Customer Question

Vintage/Antique Maps: I'd love to learn whatever I can on them. If more pics, info, measurements are needed, let me know. I'm just trying to get the conversation started as I've limited time to spend on this buggy ass system...

You didn't lose me, I'm just not able to work 24/7 (as much as that would help my wallet!) I'm rarely here on weekends when the kids are home. Reviewing this right now.

This is a vintage pictorial map of Ireland, printed by John Bartholomew & Son between 1966 and 1969, measuring 36.5" x 24". The map is rich with decorative embellishments throughout as it notes cathedrals, abbeys, castles, battles & sieges, massacres, sea ports, towns, main roads, ancient clans and families. Several quotes and Irish proverbs can be found in scrolls within the map. Surrounding the map are numerous coats-of-arms representing cities and universities.

This was done by Leslike Bullock, a notable mapmaker. Here's an article about him.

The current retail value is $40.00.
