I have an old interesting table. It is three legs - carved

Customer Question

Hi! I have an old interesting table. It is three legs - carved legs, 29" high, 3 corned with curved shape edges. It has a lower shelf of the same shape. I'm not sure of the wood, it shows a course looking grain, maybe oak. On the underside of the top, it has a stamp Mc L . 807 Or maybe S07 Any clue on this? Thank you
JA: I always love having an appraiser look at my stuff. Sometimes its turned out to be surprisingly valuable.
Customer: How do I go about this? I don't know of any in Penticton, B.C. Any suggestions?
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Antiques Appraiser should know?
Customer: It is a very unusual piece and hard to describe. It is marked up but would probably restore easily. It has a, probably? varnish finish golden - I'm wondering if it is golden oak? Any clue by the stamp on the underside?
