Customer Question

I purchased a piece by Pino entitled Everlasting beauty on a recent cruise. It is 22 x 38, but is also beautifully framed. It is a hand-embellished glicee on canvass, hand-signed in pigment by the artist. I paid $3,900 and was told it appraised at $6,800. I was troubled when I did some research and found what sounded like identical pieces of the same work available for $1,500. Is there some reason certain embellished copies would be more valuable than others? Or did I simply overpay?

My name is ***** ***** I would love to help. The next step would be for me to see pictures of the painting,
signature and any labels on the back of the completed framing.
