I purchased this statue of Dharma Daruma which looks like it

Customer Question

I purchased this statue of Dharma Daruma which looks like it came from some kind of shrine. He is sitting on a wooden platform that is 24 x 18 and stands 32 inches high. He appears to be made out of lacquered paper mache. How would I find out how old it is and more about it Thanks Mike

Hello Mike

I cannot tell you who made this or where it was produced since it is not marked. I can be valued for what it is, and that it is a vintage piece. If you like?
