Have an orotone reproduction of Edward Curtis original Canyon De Chelly created by Jean Anthony Du Lac (now deceased) purchased at a gallery in Santa Fe, NM late 70's. Any idea of its value ?
JA: I always love having an appraiser look at my stuff. Sometimes its turned out to be surprisingly valuable. Tell us what else you do know and the Antiques Appraiser will be able to better assist you.
Customer: Jean Anthony Du Lac lived in San Francisco in the 1970's and reproduced a limited number of original Curtis orotones using the exact method of Edward Curtis, named the Curtis Project. I purchased actually 3 of tyhe works from a prominent gallery in Santa Fe
JA: Is there anything else the Antiques Appraiser should be aware of?
Customer: Mr. Du Lac died in 2002 in San Francisco
