Customer Question

I have a twin sized wood four poster bed that I got at a little resale shop. I was told it is an antique hand painted Pennsylvania Dutch. I would like to know if it is worth anything, as I have not found anything like it online.

Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help.

This is a vintage twin bed, probably from around the 1940s or 1950s, in a Pennsylvania Dutch sort of style, but it's not actually Pennsylvania Dutch and it's not an antique technically (antiques are over 100 years old). It also seems to have been repainted several times.

The value would be perhaps $500.00 in great condition, at retail.
