I have two plaques inherited from my parents who bought them

Customer Question

I have two plaques inherited from my parents who bought them at an estate auction about 70 years ago. I was told they depict a Spanish barroom battle. Each one weighs about 17 pounds and 27 inches in diameter. The frames are molded brass and the fighting figures are three dimensional. On the back is stamped "JS 451".
My mother said they owned by the duPont Family when they had a mansion in Louisville.
Everyone who has seen them (including a well-regarded Louisville antique dealer) stare, then ask "What are those?". Hope you can help me answer that question.
