Customer Question

We have 5 pieces from a painter signed Langley, no one famous at least from what we have search on Google. The pieces are of large iris flowers usually on a grey or light purple back ground. Probably only paid a few hundred in the 1980's .
Can send a picture if that would help.
We are interested in selling, but don't want to dump them at the wrong price.

This is from an artist that is not a listed artist, meaning not collected or well-known.

Langley was probably a regional artist that sold their work near where you originally found the piece.

It does have the 1980's pastel theme that was popular during that time. The artist used an airbrush to accomplish the

leaves/stems, then used a thick impasto paint technique to create the irises.

This painting has a current value of $60 to $75.00 retail.
