Customer Question

My grandmother gave me this blue and white container with lid and I was wondering what it was and what the value might be.

This is a Wedgwood blue jasperware tobacco jar with neoclassical bas relief figures, most likely made from 1900 to the late 30's.

On the bottom, you should see a Wedgwood imporessed mark and some random letters and numbers. On most pieces, a two digit number is ***** year. For example a 39 is the year 1939.

This piece has a current value of $40 to $50.00 retail.
