Customer Question

I purchased a cast iron, four leg, pedastal table base. At the antique shop it was tagged as "19th century cast iron.". My immediate reaction to the tag was of skepticism. The marble top was not original. It's quite unique, extremely heavy, with curved fish feet with some botanical design and scrolls. I cannot find the makers mark. I'm not sure if it's hidden under layers of paint or some of the rust. I've looked high and low on the Internet and have found nothing like it, however, I do believe now it is late 19th century. The one table I have found in uniqueness is a Coalbrookdale, 3 legged, pedestal table with wonderful duck feet. I'm hoping you can shed some light on my unique find.

Hi Jennifer,
Unfortunately, I'm having a terrible time with my phone and anxiously awaiting the new I phone this fall. I'll try to use my daughter's phone tomorrow to send you a photo.
