How do I find out who made my chairs. They were purchased

Customer Question

How do I find out who made my chairs. They were purchased out of a store window on Connecticut Avenue in Washington, DC in 1950. They are slanted seats with mahogany legs and arms and they are very low to the ground. They were purchased with a tufted two piece couch, also very low to the ground.

The couch was originally chartreuse. The chairs were either beige or white at the time of purchase. The chairs slant backwards but the arms of the chairs are wider in the back and taper as they come forward. The couch may have come from Mazor's. Not sure if the chairs were purchased elsewhere. The couch sits almost on the ground. It has knobs on the bottom rather than legs.

I have researched these chairs and can not find a match. I will opt out of this question and open this up other experts for their opinion without additional charge to you.

Thank you,
