I have a huge set of dishes that are at least 200 - 250

Customer Question

I have a huge set of dishes that are at least 200 - 250 years old that are hand painted and trimmed in 24 Karat Gold. There is a marking on the backside of cross swords. I understand this could be an Imari or Emari pattern. The dishes are blue and orange. The cups are painted on the inside bottom.
The set is a complete service for 12 - minus one of the smaller plates.
There are 18 dinner plates,
12 Soup Bowls,
at least 12 salad plates, and
at least 12 small dessert plates.
There are two cut out dishes.
There is a very large soup tureen
there are two smaller vegetable serving plates. There are 2 gravy boats
there is another bowl and some other assorted pieces. There are
four serving platters - different sizes
there are 2 butter dishes.
I am interested in selling this set and don't know how the market is today.

Hello and welcome! My name is Doris.
I have been an antiques collector, dealer and appraiser for over 56 years.
I will be pleased to help you.

Please know that I cannot accept any requests for "live conversations" such as phone calls.
I give my best answers in writing when I have time to think about them.
Sometimes a "Chat box" will pop-up asking if you would like a live conversation. Please know it is not from me.

Please send a photo of the pattern and a clear, close-up of the marks on the bottom.

Are they all the same pattern?

Are all the marks the same?

Kind regards,
