I have a plate I am told is from the mid 1800s Germany, the story I was told is that it may be the only surviving dish from some german royalty whose castle was bombed and destroyed. the only markings on the back are CV and below that the number has a picture in the center not sure if its a castle or what but the caption says" Jungerfesthulle in Dresden 23-25 Juli 1865" I think some letters are hard to read
