I have this painting which I'm looking to get a valuation

Customer Question

I have this painting which I'm looking to get a valuation on. 25" high X 39" long.
That is the measurements without the frame. The picture is framed and matted and came from an art gallery which I took a pic of the sticker on the back. I did not want to remove the paper wrapping on the back so I'm not sure what materials it is painted on.

Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help.

I only got the one photo, and it's quite small and distant.

Can you please try to upload that one again, but full size rather than as a thumbnail? Also, can I get a photo of the gallery sticker, and a close-up of any signatures or seals?

Sincerely,

Jennifer

Thank you.

This is a Chinese watercolor on paper, from the mid 20th century.

From the style, this is a commercial piece done for the American market.

The retail value, through an art dealer similar to Europe (which was around in the 1990s), would be approximately $500.00, framed.

Sincerely,

Jennifer
