Customer Question

I have a 1961 painting of "Memories of Mucnomah" (noted on the backside...
JA: I always love having an appraiser look at my stuff. Sometimes its turned out to be surprisingly valuable. Tell us what else you do know and the Antiques Appraiser will be able to better assist you.
Customer: ...Ont the front (right bottom) is signed "Evelyn Sisemore 1967". Evelyn was my "Aunt through marriage" and I grew up with this painting on the wall. I know about the fire, and so many beautiful works were destroyed... I would like a valuation of this (one of few) paintings left.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Antiques Appraiser should know?
Customer: Evelyn was a self-trained artist, and one of the first two air-brush artists in the U.S.. She was "Woman of the Year" either 2 or 3 years in a row... well deserved, as she was one of the most fascinating and intelligent persons I have ever encountered... I could go on for days telling stories about her and her family... I love and miss them all.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Antiques Appraiser about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello,My name isCustomerand I would love to help. The next step would be for me to see pictures of the painting, signature and back of painting so that I can get visual clues of the date, artist, framing construction and value. Use the Add Files feature on your screen to add pictures one at a time.
