I have a carriage clock which I believe belonged to a Miss

Customer Question

I have a carriage clock which I believe belonged to a Miss Fisher who came to Adelaide on the Buffalo in 1836 On the back of the casing (inside the door) in the bottom right hand corner is CV or GV above 4147.
On the dial below the face (Roman numeralS) is what I take to be the retailer's name: DOBSON & SSONS
Can you identify the maker and the date of manufacture?
