Customer Question

Original Photograph of Chief Bloody Knife of the Sioux and Scout Charles Dufrane circa 1878 or just prior to the battle of the Little Big Horn. Taken at Ft. Bufford Dakota Territory. also accompanied by a letter from the CO to DuFranes family stating that he was absent during Indian Campaigns. The letter is worn. There is a similar Photo in the Smithsonian donated in the 30,s by DuFranes Wife I believe. My Photo was held by his Grandson and passed onto his great Grandson.
