Hello,

In order for me to properly assess what you have I will need to see images and clear, in-focus close-ups of the mark

If you had already attached images to your initial posting, they are not showing for me here on my end.

Please send the photos at your convenience. There is not an extra charge to provide more pictures here.

Hi,

Thank you for the image of the underside. Do you have a photo of the vase itself to add here.

Hi,

Thank you for the images, I am fairly certain it is not English as wares from there are very diligently marked and registered.

In the meantime, I will opt-out here and open your question again to all the experts at no additional charge. If someone knows the answer, they will respond to you here. You do not need to re-post your question.

I do hope you find the information that you seek.

Sincerely,

Nora

Hello - I have 2 very old Reed and Barton pieces that I believe are silverplate or hollowware. They have been stored away and are nearly black in color. There are markings on the bottom of each. One is an ice pitcher with an ice guard. The markings on that are hard to read - it looks like a small C PCA and under it is Poole Silver (with a marking I can't identify) under that is Taunton Mass and under that the numbers 5008. The other is a tea pot with the very same design on the handle and the feet. The markings on that are 1759 and under that is Read & Barton and under that is 5. I'm wondering how old they are and if they have any value. Thank you for any direction you can provide. Nancy W … read more
