Hello and Welcome to Just Answer,

My name is***** am a Personal Property Appraiser and would be happy to assist you with your question.

Can you tell me the number of pieces in the set? Are there any serving pieces? Any damaged pieces?

Were you interested in selling the set or is this something you are going to hang on to?

Thanks for your time today,

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Complete set with serving pieces. Only damage is slight crackling of glaze due to age I assume. Want to sell.

Can you tell me the type of serving pieces included in the set? Also how many pieces are in each setting? How many table settings are there?

Thanks again,

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Large plate (10) small plate (10), serving platter (2) tureens (2)

Thank you very much for getting back to me with that information.

Your mid 19th century (circa 1840-1870) Victorian Minton Leinde, chromolithograph dish set including ten dinner plates, ten salad plates a pair of serving platters and a pair of tureens would have an replacement value of 750-800USD in excellent condition.

If you were planing on reselling the set, a fair market or resale value would be closer to 300-350USD based on current market values for period chomolith Minton china.

The crazing is normal based on the age of the set, but if there was any cracking or chipping, this would detract from the resale value.

I hope this information was helpful to you today.

Best of luck with your antique dish set.

Any feedback you can leave for my service would be much appreciated.

Thank You,
