I have a set of two figurines which my mother bought mother

Customer Question

I have a set of two figurines which my mother bought for her mother in the 1940"s. One is a man playing a violin, the other is a woman who appears to be dancing. They are made of porcelain. Their clothes are made of velvet or felt. The woman"s hand is broke off and the tip of the violin is broke off. They appear to be french. They both have gold coloring on edges of their clothing. Are these valuable?

Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help.

In order to appraise these, I'd need an overall photograph, and a close-up of any marks, stamps, or labels.
