The artist is Dorothy Skeados Ganek (American, 1946-), The is very little on her in the secondary art market and no biographic material on her. Her watercolors usually have auction estimates of $200.00 to $400.00.

That's bs. I spent over a thousand Dolores 20'years ago. She is a famed painter. I'd Luke someone more qualified for my answer. I'm nit paying for this review.

Hi, my name is*****"m a certified appraiser with 22 years of full-time experience.

The art market is a constantly fluctuating field. Artists go up and down in value as they go up and down in popularity. Unfortunately, as Tim told you, this artist virtually disappeared from the market. She no longer has any galleries representing or selling her work, and the auction houses are similarly disinterested.

While her work appears to be of fine quality, the art market is very name-driven. When an artist's name is ***** ***** popular or desirable, unfortunately the value stays quite low as few buyers will have interest.

As Tim noted, her watercolors are typically estimated at $200 to $400 when they do come up at auction, and this would be considered the current value.

I'm very sorry for any disappointment.
