Customer Question

We are going through boxes of antique bowls, tea cups and miniature tea cups. Many of the pieces are hand painted and are trimmed in gold. We believe some pieces originated in the 1930's, 40's and 50's.
One particular piece is a serving bowl that is marked on the bottom "Royal Baymont? PRV 1794. It's hand painted and is an unusual shape.
We have 200-300 of these pieces, including a few (seem to be retired) Lladros. What is the best way to determine the value of these items in an effort to sell them?
Thank you very much!

In general, I only assess one item or matched set per question here online.

The best way for you to determine value and sell your collection of items would be to have an auction company come to your home and provide an auction estimate. Or to have an estate sale business come in and do the same. Auction houses usually do no charge for the service, nor are you obligated to sell through them. Estate sale businesses would each have their own policies. Who you contact depends on your location. If there are items that you have particular questions about, then I would be happy to assess one at a time here for you.
