Hi my name is Tim. Please tell me more about the painting. How did you determine the name? Can you send an image of the back?

Thank you, ***** ***** you acquire the painting and determine the name of the artist?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
It was in the family for as long as I could remember I can't read the signature
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Anybody out there?
Expert:  Tim in Antiques replied 2 years ago.

Thank you,

I have looked at the painting and I can not read the signature either. So I will give you a value range based on the quality of the paintings rather than the artist. The artist used quick broad brush strokes to create the painting. This is a 20th century technique used on a 19th century style painting. Still lifes like yours usually sell in a retail setting for $400.00 to $600.00. In a quality Belgium frame like yours the range is $600.00 to $800.00.

Cheers Tim

Can I send u just the signature?
Expert:  Tim in Antiques replied 2 years ago.

I downloaded the image and ran the magnified signature through a photo shop to try to enhance the quality of the image. I also asked an associate to look at it. The signature is indistinct
