I have a retro/deco looking dresser made by Cavalier Fine

Customer Question

I have a retro/deco looking dresser made by Cavalier Fine Furniture. It has the cloth tag inside the drawer and a sticker that says it's solid mahogany. The outside is blond in color the inside is a darker wood. Looks like a piece from the 60's. Trying to fine out it's worth.

That cloth label would date your Cavalier Fine Furniture dresser to the 1950's. Cavalier, who was mostly known for their cedar chests but produced different types of furniture and even began producing Coca Cola machines in the 1960's to keep the business going. The dresser, which has a touch of art deco design, would have a current resale value of 350-450USD in good to excellent condition if you were to attempt to resell the piece yourself.

In a retail brick and mortar shop you may be closer to the 700-800USD range.

I hope this information was helpful to you today.

Best of luck with your vintage Cavalier dresser.

Any feedback you can leave for my service would be much appreciated.
