Customer Question

My mother in law told me she had an antique silver bed. She has since passed and I have tried to get it appraised for sale and told there is no such thing and offered $100 for it.
Is someone trying to cheat me or was my mother in law wrong?

Thanks for the picture. Most likely that its a silver plated bed, rather than a pure silver bed. Could you inspect the bed to see if it has some kind of label or mark? If it's made of silver, you should at least see one mark, telling us the silver purity.
