I have a Royal Doulton elephant statute. about 15 inches high and 25 inches long. any idea of its value?

This is a Royal Doulton Fighter Elephant designed by Charles Noke and produced between the years of 1952 to 1992. These had a very high price ($2550-2625) in the 1990's-2005 or so, but have come down a bit since. The retail value of this piece today is $1500 to $1800.00. You would insure this piece for $4500.00 (retail value plus loss/sentimental value). You should reassess this value every 2 or 3 years because they could go back up again as trends change.
