Customer Question

I own a Bernique Langley painting, 24 x 29, unsure if it is pastel or watercolor. It's all in orange on white paper of an Indian girl with a shawl over her head and holding a pot. It's signed Bernique, 1972. I would like to sell it and wondered what the approximate value might be.

I was billed $33.00 for a non answer. Am unable to send a picture as my camera is missing so can you give me a range of approximate value?

We verified professionals are considered site users just like you. I have no control or knowledge of how the site finances are handled.
I have been waiting for your photos but never received them; so, I was not aware that you could not send them.
Please allow me time to research your question without a photo, calculate current values and write my answer.

My research indicates that your large 24 x 29" work by Bernique has an estimated retail art gallery value of $900-1100 assuming some slight rippling.
A private seller to a dealer can expect 40-60% of retail value.
I hope I have helped you.
If I can help you with further questions about this answer, please let me know before you rate me.

Please let me know if you have difficulty with the site's rating system.

I appreciate your reply. Mine does have some rippling so if the value is on the lower side of your estimate, I will probably keep it rather than sell. Thank you for your time.
