Even in a very tough dish market the 69 dollars you pad for the set was still a very solid investment. The serving platters alone would be worth more than what you paid. What I can tell you is that it is a very difficult time for china, and dish ware. With the current economy matched with a current low demand is a difficult time to sell. From what it sounds like you are hanging on to it as an investment, which I would advise. Also if you were going to sell the pieces I would recommend selling individually as opposed to the set in order to market the pieces to a replacement crowd as opposed to a buyer or dealer looking to resell.
