VerifiedMary Theresa Menton(1847-1913) was born in Boston, MA. She settled on the west coast strain off in Santa Clara and finally settling in San Francisco where she lived and worked.
In excellent condition your still life by Mary Menton would value between 250-500 dollars based on the condition of the piece. The cracking in the oil paint is an inevitable process and would not really count against the piece as this comes with age of many 19th century oil paintings. Look for any damage such as holes or missing paint, as this would devalue the piece.
