VerifiedThe first thing we have to do is identify your blank and trim Arelene Schleiger numbers.
She developed the identification system for Haviland that is used by all. On page 118, book II are the possible blanks used for the GDA/CFHaviland patterns. The 3 possibilities are No. 173 bland with gold trim #366; #174 with gold trim #181, and 175 with gold trim #182.
Blank 173 is fancy with an outer smooth section followed by a serpentine (ruffled) followed by smooth again then ruffled. The inner blank has 2 close rows of ruffling design in the blank. The Gold trim # XXXXX Both of these do not appear to fit with your description.
Blank 174 is probably yours from your description. It is softly and evenly indented with almost equal sections of smooth round, then a small dip, then round, then dip, etc.
The Trim #181 smoothly covers the outer border and down a nice border into the plate edge.
Blank 175 has a smooth rounded outer border with a few dips. The interior has one row of ruffling and section lines in the plate. The tips are accented in the blank by tiny heart type leaves with the rounded smooth sections having a ruffled section below. The trim # XXXXX that goes with this blank has gold rimming the outer border, the inner ruffling border and gold accents on the little heart leaves.
So identify your blank and trim then go to Replacements Inc. (www.replacements.com) and you can get additional pieces or watch the internet for pieces that match. The Schleiger number identification is your key.
