What is wrong with my...
What is wrong with my Android smart phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4)? When I power it on, it initializes and progresses to the start up screen but after a few seconds, it starts initializing on it's own all over again. It does this over and over and the only thing I can do to get it to stop is to remove the battery. This android is only 1 year old but was purchased second hand, new in box over Ebay so I don't have the original warranty. Is there anything I can do to try to repair it myself? If I have to take it somewhere to repair it (or send it away), what are my options? Or does it usually turn out that just purchasing another device is cheaper based on the high cost of repairs?

Is that your standard advice for all broken smart phones, i.e. get a new one? Or is your recommendation based on your trained knowledge of repairs needed for problems of this type? Do you have any idea of what the problem could be or where to start looking for the problem?
