I cannot access my LG 5 phone. It would not accept my finger print or code.

Technician's Assistant: When were you last able to use your 5?

8.15 am this morning

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried a Factory Reset? The Phone Expert can walk you through this to ensure you don't lose your photos, contacts and other data.

I do not want to loose the data. I talked to an LG tech who said that I would loose the info on my phone. if you think it will work then lets do it.
