When I try to register I get: Registration Error... The info you entered does NOT match an Amazon account. Please try again. When I try to create a new account and register it I get: Device Registration Error. Your kindle was not registered due to a server error. Please go to the Register Your Kindle page and try to register again using your account credentials.

I'm very disappointed in the response but I suppose it's my fault for not providing all the information. I can log into Amazon account so obviously my email and password ***** NOT the issue but to satisfy your answer I followed the link and AGAIN received the same messages when trying to register or create an account. Please advise with a better resolution as I already tried the obvious ones before wasting over $20 to be told to reset my password.

When you log into your Amazon account and look at the list of registered devices, is your Kindle Fire showing there?

If not, it will need to be registered to that account:
