Technician's Assistant: What brand and model of e-reader do you have?

Originally registered on 12-5-17,worked fine.Fire 7 Kindle Unit has received updates successfully, then poof! lost its connection.Trying to re-register the unit but am having trouble getting reconnected.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Kindle? What have you tried so far?

About 2 days ago. Following the onscreen instructions like I did when I first registered it on 12-5-17, I cannot successfully reconnect unit.I must be doing something wrong.Would it be possible to speak with someone on a 1-800 phone number to resolve this issue?

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the E-reader Expert to know before I connect you?

I have no telecommunications on this computer,I must use my regular phone at this time, if that would be possible?
