I have videos that I purchased from Amazon for my Kindle Fire. Within the last couple of weeks when I try to open my video listing the screen momentarily goes black and then pops back to my home page. It used to open and list all of my videos, then I could click on the one I wanted and it would start to play. Now I cannot get a listing to chose from.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last charge your Kindle Fire?

It is kept plugged in all the time. I have powered down and back up a few times. I have left it powered down overnight and powered up in the morning and I still the video directory will not respond. My book listing works fine as does my apps listing.

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried a force reboot (pressing and holding the power button for a minute)?

No, but isn't that the same as holding the button until it says it is shutting down, waiting for itt o power off, and then pressing the button to power it back up?

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the E-reader Expert to know before I connect you?

I guess not, I just want to be able to get my video listing, select the video I wish to play, and they watch the video like I used to be able to do.

No, I don't wish to spend another $20 on my problem. I don't really wish to spend $28 to get an answer to my problem. I thought as a customer of Amazon and Kindle I could get a simple answer to something I could try like clearing the cache or the like, and get my video listing back. I don't wish to spend any more money on this problem.
