Hi, I have a Moto G5 plus and today I was unable to make or receive calls. I can text. I spent about 45 minutes with my carrier, Verizon who eventually concluded that I should contact you regarding this issue. Can you help? Thank youo.

Technician's Assistant: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your Moto?

How would I find that information?

Technician's Assistant: The Smartphone Technician will be able to walk you through that. How long has this been going on with your Moto? What have you tried so far?

Well, it's only been today that this issue has occurred. The Verizon technician had me deleted from Verizon service and then readded. I also turned the phone off for several minutes and then turned on - nothing has worked.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Smartphone Expert to know before I connect you?

I don't think so, I've been very happy with the phone.

my phone is neither receiving nor sending phone calls. I can text. My carrier, Verizon, tried a couple of fixes. Nothing worked and they suggested I contact Motorola.

This is almost always an issue with your carrier and not Motorola.

I know you do not want to hear this but you need to call Verizon again or go into a local Verizon store.
