I used my android...

I used my android tablet to change my google password ***** cancel stolen android mobile phone and its data. I changed my password, then the tablet restarted. Asked for my password, then said because it was changed I should try again in 24 hours! Asked for name of my account then said 'no account in this name. What now?

The phone no. was th mobile number that is now disconnected. Home phone is +61755322121, I believe there are security questions but I was not asked for those
