I got the message "The Amazon .com mobile service encountered a problem. Please try again shortly." I've tried several times with the same result.

Technician's Assistant: What Amazon model do you have?

Amazon prime on a Kindle fire

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Amazon e-reader? What have you tried so far?

Since it said to try again later, I have tried again several times

I just paid my yearly payment on my credit card for Amazon Prime membership and this seems to cause a problem every year.
