I just purchased a...

I just purchased a Dragon Touch v10 , and after immediately opening it, it asked for a password. How do I get into my new tablet?

Technician's Assistant: When did you last change the password ***** passcode to your V10?

I haven’t, I didn’t even set it up. It is brand new.

Technician's Assistant: Is there a Gmail address linked to your device?

Not that I’m aware of....I purchased it on Amazon. It came in the mail today.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Android Expert to know before I connect you?

If your Dragon Touch is 'brand new' but has an unknown password ***** it, then it isn't really brand new, and you should pack it up without further ado, returning it at once to the vendor or store, telling them it doesn't work - which it doesn't, not if it is locked with an unknown password! and not-really-New to boot. And require of them, what is your right, an exchange for another, fully working, and really new, Dragon Touch of the same model or the same value and capabilities.

It was bought from Amazon? inform the vendor *at once* of this problem. And request an exchange or a refund. It is your right to ask, though if sold overtly 'Used' or 'As-Is' or 'without warranty', you may be refused, unfortunately.
