I have a launcher that has blocked my ability to get into my cell phone--please help!

Technician's Assistant: When were you last able to use your phone?

About 10 minutes ago I downloaded an emoji app, and then uninstalled it. However, the screen wants me to select a "TouchWiz" launcher to get into my phone.

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried a Factory Reset? The Phone Expert can walk you through this to ensure you don't lose your photos, contacts and other data.

I do not know how to do this--if it is what I need to do, then please have someone guide me through the process.

I already have retarted the phone, and the launchers still appear.

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up button and Home button.
  3. While continuing to hold the volume up and home buttons, press and hold the Power button.
  4. Continue to hold all three buttons until an Android with spinning arrows appears, then release all buttons.
  5. Select wipe data/factory reset.
    Utilize the Volume Up/Down buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.
    Software version is displayed on this screen.
  6. Select Yes.
  7. Select Reboot system now.
