I just received my...

I just received my Kindle Fire 10 and when I try to register it I get Authentication Problem. I have a Kindle Fire 7 on the same network and it works fine as well as my PC.

Technician's Assistant: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?

It is a Kindle Fire 10 and I just took it out of the box.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I tried reseting to factory defaults and resert the router. I can't select forget as that is not an option under network settins. I'm thinking I should just return it and get a SWamsung

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Android Expert to know before I connect you?

This is brand new out of the box.

It sounds like when you are trying to register your kindle you are getting an error as authentication failed if this is the case you can try to check for the airplane mode WiFi problems with the Kindle Fire can sometimes be solved by simply going to your Fire settings, turning airplane mode on, then off – the device and then you can check if it is connecting to WiFi or not.
