I can't set up my Gmail or Google account. My Tablet went in for an software upgrade and now I can't get into any Google apps

Technician's Assistant: How long have you had this issue with your Gmail account?

I have been struggling for about 2 weeks but I did get it done last week, but it won't accept my email address or the new password ***** chose.

I've had then send me messages with numbers etc as well as emails with codes but it just won't work.
